My boyfriend has streptococcus viridans in his urine. my doctor said it's not necessary to treat? why not? can this be harmful to him? and cause uti?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

S. viridans: Is most likely from contamination of the urine specimen and not the cause of infection. That is why your doctor is not treating it.
