Finished a course of atbx for sinus infection 10 days ago. i felt 100% better. now im coughing a lot (dry), have facial pain, headache and malaise. is it possible that its the same infection or a new one? i had a an allergic flare up last week?

The heavy but dry cough this time is less likely related to the previous sinus infection. If you had not had a viral upper respiratory which antedated the recent sinusitis, the current symptoms could be due to a viral infection. However, facial pain seems inconsistent with viral infection unless the sinuses are also involved. Consecutive viral upper respiratory infections are unlikely. Take care.
