The heavy but dry cough this time is less likely related to the previous sinus infection. If you had not had a viral upper respiratory which antedated the recent sinusitis, the current symptoms could be due to a viral infection. However, facial pain seems inconsistent with viral infection unless the sinuses are also involved. Consecutive viral upper respiratory infections are unlikely. Take care.
