I have had back pain off and on for about a year. i just left it, thinking it would be okay but it hasn't. the pain comes from middle of spine. i wonder if it's because i sleep always on my side? or could it be the pillow? any suggestions? thanks?

Back pain is a common ailment I see in my clinic. I usually take a history including previous injuries, trauma, surgeries, history of scoliosis, work-tasks, and location and radiation of pain. Thoracic spine pain could be related to muscle pain or scoliosis. A physical exam and a radiograph can help identify the cause of pain.
