Sleep environment: His spine is not going to be harmed but I am concerned about a 1 month old sleeping on a pillow for other reasons. All infants should sleep on their side or back on a firm surface without pillows or on couches etc to minimize the risk of sids (sudden infant death syndrome). I review every infant death in our county and unfortunately sleep environment is the biggest risk.

I have had back pain off and on for about a year. I just left it, thinking it would be okay but it hasn't. The pain comes from middle of spine. I wonder if it's because I sleep always on my side? or could it be the pillow? Any suggestions? Thanks?
When I sleep, I have back pain, and when I sleep without the pillow it gets better (but there is still pain). Sometimes I also feel my spine rotate.
To keep my spine/neck properly aligned and avoid waking up tired/achy, which type/firmness/thickness of mattress and pillow should I be using? There are so many choices that it's hard to tell which is best for good sleep & back/neck support.
My neck keeps getting sore after sleeping I've changed pillows and sometimes it's the side of my neck and others it's the back at the tip of my spine how can stop this happening?
