This is an infected cat bite and requires prompt treatment with appropriate antibiotics to avoid septicemia. I recommend proceeding to the ER ASAP as you may need IV antibiotics in view of the redness& swelling of the wound. Your cat has most likely had its rabies shot. You may need a tetanus booster. You'll need follow-up care for this infection. The ER MD will decide on the best antibiotic
