What does it mean if one tonsils swollen? its been that way for a few days no pain or sore throat. a little bit of coughing. i do have seasonal allergies but theyre not bothering me right now. no fever. havent been sick. any idea? redness as well?

If you have not looked at them before they may just be big or appear big to you. They are normally red. Otherwise have someone take a look if worried or sick. Google tonsils and look at images. Finding one that looks like yours is a good start.
