No. Colchicine has the potential to cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, but it does so by mechanisms other than "stomach irritation". So esomeprazole may not make a difference. This effect of colchicine is dose dependent, so if your physician-prescribed dose is making you feel poorly, then talk with your physician about a new dose or a different medication.
