Yes,you can take: advil (ibuprofen). Watch for stomach upset,as both colchicine and advil (ibuprofen) can irritate the gut, and cause nausea and vomiting or diarrhea. Hope this helps!

Hello I have another gout flare up. Need Rx Refill of Colchicine and Ibuprofen. The Colchicine did help. I stopped drinking soda, brown liquor, coffee no sugar or creamer for couple days. Foot got better. Drank ginger ale yesterday. Foot swelled up?
