A member asked:

I had an eye exam and was told that my left eye has a paler fundus than my right eye could this indicate that i had optic neuritis without knowing it?

An episode of optic neuritis is accompanied by rather obvious problems and seriously doubt you would be unaware! Most likely, the pallor on the left is due to a mild congenital optic atrophy, a not uncommon condition.
