It takes a few days for symptoms of nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) to clear up. Contact the doctor or clinic treating you if symptoms are not gone at the end of your week of treatment. As replied to your previous message, this probably is NGU; your gonorrhea and chlamydia test results probably will be negative.

I hope you are not just being treated with doxycycline, though you are awaiting the test results. The doxycycline is usually for 7 days, is what has been found to be more effective, and it would only work to cure your discharge if you have Chlamydia and not Gonorrhea or Trichomonas.
