The HPV vaccine does not protect you from many strains of HPV and vaccination does not mean 100% effective. You should practice safe sex if your partner has active wart lesions. Good luck.

One of many repeat questions. Since you have already been having regular sex, there is no point in changing sexual practices at this time. The vaccine protects against 90% of all potentially important health problems from HPV.
