Gallbladder surgery 3/6. high alt 245 and ast 173 persist. normal alk phos and bilirubin. us/ct/mrcp all normal. only meds are birth control. is this autoimmune hepatitis or due to surgery? how long can it take for enzymes to return to normal?

These high liver enzymes, called hypertransaminasemia, are not due to gall bladder surgery, especially with normal ALP , Bili and imaging tests. You should be evaluated by a hepatologist for the etiology of hypertransaminasemia. Good luck!
