yes. Most are simply like microscopes that look into the eye. Some bounce sound waves off the back of your eye to assess its shape. Some are a series of lenses that adjust to let you see better. There is no radiation in any of the ones in common use. If you go to a hospital and get a CT scan that includes the eye that does have radiation.
