You were exposed to a very small amount of radiation during the CT scans-especially true if your hands were scanned. You can ask for a lead covering for yourself if you are ever asked to do this again. How old is your son? For a very young child, you holding his head likely helped to keep him calm as well as still. Your exposure was likely minuscule. Hope your son is ok! Good luck to both of you!

I hope your son is doing well. I too have been in same situation. Yes your hand was exposed to radiation and that amount of radiation dose, at most, is as if you had to have a CT of your arm and hand. Hence, it should be tolerable for you in the fourth decade of your life.
