Whats the difference between crp and troponin test?

The main difference between CRP (C-reactive protein) and the troponin tests is that CRP is a non-specific test which measures inflammation in the body (infection, injury or chronic conditions – such as RA, IBS or Heart disease), while troponin is a specific test which measures damage to the heart muscle (such as during a heart attack).
