Postural hypotension: Have your blood pressure measured lying flat, and then after sitting up. Then, have your blood pressure measured when lying down and immediately after standing up. If the change in posture causes your blood pressure to drop more than 15 mm hg, follow up with your doctor. You may be anemic, could had adrenal problems, or thyroid problems. Cj glueck md.
