I was on wellbutrin but the pills were too big and i let them disintegrate in my mouth b/c i couldn't swallow them whole. i ended up having a seizure re: serotonin syndrome. can i go back on wellbutrin if i take as prescribed with the smaller pill?

By PDR: "the manufacturer states that the tablets should be swallowed whole and should not be cut, chewed, or crushed since this may lead to an increased risk of adverse effects including seizures". I think that you can resume taking wellbutrin by swallowing multiple small, intact pills. Take care.

There has been some association of Wellbutrin with seizures. Recommend you check with the physician who prescribed Wellbutrin before restarting it.
