Is it true that metformin can lower your blood sugar more when you exercise, have an infection, or fever ? like to dangerously low ?

There is always a risk of low blood sugar with Metformin, although it typically does not lower the blood sugar to dangerously low levels. But, with infection or physiologic stress, blood sugars can go high or low so checking the blood sugar is helpful under these conditions to avoid a dangerously low level. Good luck to you!
