Not likely: Merformin has to be taken daily.You need to discuss with your prescribing doctor and it all depends how low your blood sugar goes and if it is symptomatic or not.I will discuss with the doctor before you make any changes on your own.Some times the daily dise may be reduced or if sugar is not too low,it can be continued.
