Is it normal for a mole to turn color when you press on it? i have a mole between my toes that turns brown when i press on it but turns back to a reddish-brown color when i release. the surrounding skin is red and blanches as well?

There are different types of moles depending on the type of cells forming it. The melanocytes moles are the ones that could become melanoma; however it seems as if the cells in what you have may be from blood vessels is why you have the characteristics described. There is no harm in having it evaluated. It is however important to watch it for changes that may indicate cancerous changes.
