Lower butt crack is in pain, not far above the anus. weeks back i had wounds there but in two different places. where pain is today the skin looks red but not bulging like a cyst, skin is smooth. could it still be a pilonidal cyst or what else?

It could be. But (butt) needs to be examined . pl see a surgeon. In the meantime use hot/warm baths (Sitz or a tub) to the area
