Neither likely: From your description it is neither chordoma nor pilonidal cyst. Depending on the firmness, it might be a fatty tumor (lipoma) or another type of cyst. Show it to your primary doctor.

Neither: Neither of those match that description. I would lean towards lipoma versus a sebaceous cyst, but ultimately it needs to be seen to determine. I would suggest you see your doctor for further eval.
