I had a CT of head and neck with contrast. I was pushed under CT scan. Tech said would be about three minutes but I was under it for 20 minutes.They inserted contrast and was out.Is this normal?Could they have left radiation on by error? Why so long?

I had a CTA of the brain and neck with contrast. The CT looked more like a capsule. It was not an MRI. I was in it for at least 25 minutes. At the end technician said we will now release contrast. Is it normal to be inside CT for that long?
