Shouldnt be an issue: Overall this shouldnt be an issue exposure wise and these scans are to aid in diagnosis and unfortunately nothing can provide the same info that doesnt have some exposure to it.

Not a problem: The extra radiation is commensurate to what you'd get as an airline pilot for a few weeks. They don't get extra cancer. Nothing in life is risk-free, but the decision here is easy. I am sorry that anyone tried to scare you.
