If you do not have significant underlying diseases, covid-19 infection with the new variants is no longer life threatening and its severity is not different from flu or a bad cold. You can wear mass if you want to but universal mask is not a good policy at this present time. You should not worry too much but you should still stay away from people with an active upper viral infection if possible.

Mutations are here now, B.1.1. and B.1.1.2. have been detected in this area. Wear a mask in crowds, or unknown areas, even if vaccinated and boosted. You can still be subjected to this new strain, with a milder outcome, but being positive will keep you out of your everyday environment.
