Just a follow up question , so from what i understand , we smell food and it goes to the lungs and brain and breathed out , not peed out right? as it wouldn't be able to make it to the urethra?

Yes, food odors do not appear in your urine, e.g. you can't smell orange odor (flavor) in the urine after you eat orange. Certain foods give urine a specific odor but not the food's odor you smell.

Nothing except the sensation goes to the brain when the olfactory nerve is stimulated (Smell). The air with the smell is breathed out by the lungs.
