No question see a Dr: There is no way to get to the bottom of this without an exam. Potential sources include tonsil stones, tooth decay, an esophageal diverticulum with decomposing material lodged inside, sinus infection, and numerous food issues or metabolic derangements. Of these, metabolic and infectious problems would be most worrisome and urgent. ENT can get a good look. Start with primary or urgent care ASAP!
