They upped my simvastatin from 20mgs to 40, its causing me to retain water, how can i stop that? do i just drink less liquids? drinking more just makes me more bloated. im not a big eater since im only 4ft5, wish i could quit taking it, so how?

In general for significant side effects perceived to new meds and/or doses, the drug involved has to be stopped and prescriber informed so that a contingent plan is discussed.
