What liquids can i drink besides water that will not cause water retention?

It will reabsorb water from whatever the water containing liquid is......If you drink beer its the water part that is reabsorbed for instance. If you were to drink the drug Furosemide in its solution form, the drug part would override the water and you'd lose water due to drug.
