May clear up: Many things can cause productive sputum and nasal drainage, including exposure to smoke or fumes, allergies and infections. But we have learned that most sinus infections and bronchitis do not need antibiotics, as they will almost always go away in a week or so. Especially with no other symptoms, waiting is a good option. If it persist another week or so, or more things happen, then be seen.
