My son is 2. the last couple of days i've noticed specks of blood in the mucus in his nose. no runny nose, fever or congestion. not dry in house. ?

Nose bleed??: If he doesn't have a runny nose or nasal congestion, then why does he have mucous in his nose? The blood vessels on the nasal septum or very fragile, and only minor trauma can cause bleeding. If he is feeling well, no need to get an evaluation, but it may help to put small amount of antibiotic ointment just inside the nares for a few days.
