: The arachnoid cyst is almost certainly a coincidental congenital variant of no pathological consequence, and in no way, if extracranial and small, can obstruct the cerebrospinal flow and promote hydrocephalus. Have a meeting with your doctors and fully discuss the prior imaging and clinical correlations.

The arachnoid cyst is almost certainly a coincidental congenital variant of no pathological consequence, and in no way, if extracranial and small, can obstruct the cerebrospinal flow and promote hydrocephalus.
