I am on 300 mgs of effexor (venlafaxine) i have lost 80 pounds my doc is lowering to 225. i told him i had no energy he thought the 300 mgs of effexor (venlafaxine) might be the cause do you agree. are there articles to support.

Possible: The maximum recommended dose is 225 mg a day and weight loss has been reported so lowering the dose to the maximum recommended dose was an appropriate move by your doctor.
