Hi docs, would effexor (venlafaxine) make sleeping hard, what can i do?

Effexor (venlafaxine): Insomnia is considered a relatively common side effect of effexor (venlafaxine). I would let your prescribing physician/ psychiatrist know. Might split the dose, take at another time of day, lower the dose, add in another medication to help with sleep or change your medication. Take care.
