Mammo follow up radiologist wants a biopsy. i asked him what he thought my chances of cancer and he said 94-96% benign shouod i trust this? rounded morphology some appear somewhat faint and heterogenousbi-rads 4. suspicious abnormality.shudiworry?

Radiologist gave you 94-96% chances of lesion being benign yet recommended biopsy. I will suggest to trust Radiologist decision as he must have seen something which makes him not to be sure for benign. Hope it helps.

Think if it this way-94-96% chance of it being benign is not a 100% chance of being benign. The only way to be absolutely certain it is benign is with the biopsy. You can be less worried knowing it is probably benign but the way to know for sure is to have the biopsy done. Good luck to you!
