Went to doctor today with lots of pain in my hip/leg. they prescribed meloxicam 15mg. it is not touching my pain. can i take something with it?

I assume there has been no injury. What is the working diagnosis made after today's exam? Was an xray done? You can take Tylenol with the meloxicam. Opiods like ultram, Vicodin, Percocet require a prescription. If severe pain persists, don't hesitate to be reexamined or be referred to an orthopedic surgeon. You can switch to naproxen if it's more effective for you.
