I have grade 3 cartilage damage in my knee and i have been having pain, i just got prescribed meloxicam and a cortisone injection on friday, how long till i get relief from the injection and is it better to take my meloxicam at night or in the am?

Relief: Starts sometimes at the time of the injection or in hours after and meloxicam is generally taken after a meal same time of the day, either morning or evening. Your best reference for what to expect from the injection remains your treating doc.
