Many similar drugs: Both Alleve and myloxicam are similar drugs. You may have to increase the dose to get the full relief. You can also use Naproxan. Ask your doctor for prescription and make sure that you use the full dose. Over the counter drugs often have half of the full strength of the drug. Ask the pharmacist if you can double the dose to get the maximum benefit.
