60,000 col/ml lactobacillus on urine culture. 15 weeks pregnant. sensation of needing to urinate constantly without relief for the past 5 daysmorning, night, any position. using the bathroom brings no relief. could this indicate a uti?

Lactobacillus is the dominant bacteria in a healthy vagina and rarely if ever causes UTI. The culture most likely is from contamination of the urine specimen with vaginal fluids. Speak with your Ob about your symptoms; they may just be a consequence of pregnancy itself. Good luck.

Probably not. You need to see a urologist and repeat a clean catch mid-stream urine and Culture. Check with your OB about the position of the uterus- sometime in pregnancy it can irritate the bladder. Hope you do well
