I have a change in bowel habits with increased gassiness flatulence, but no other overt symptoms. i had a colonoscopy in 2020..no cancer only diverticul. should i be screened for possible colon cancer with these symptoms if no cancer was seen in 2020?

Has there been a change in your diet. Do you have regular bowel movements. I would, however, make an appointment with a Urologist. I don’t think another colonoscopy is necessary. Explain to Urologist your concerns.

You probably do not need another colonoscopy, but if you’re change in your bowel habits is persistent, you may benefit from a visit to see a gastroenterologist anyway. Not to get a colonoscopy, but to find out what to do about your change in bowel habits. Eating more fiber often helps. See your G.I. doc if you have persistent issues. good luck.
