66 hrs ago i fell & injured back. xray shows possible hairline fractures in 2 lumbar vertebrae but inconclusive. mri scheduled. how long can i go w/out bowel movement or sensation of needing one before i should start to worry about neurogenic bowel?

A modest proposal: why not ask your current physicians if there is any evidence on your clinical exam of either spinal cord or cauda equina damage? Your constipation may well be secondary to analgesics if you have been provided opioids.
