Is the lymphatic system symmetrical? are all lymph nodes the same size? is it normal to be able to feel lymph nodes when your not sick? i have 1 palpable lymph node in the neck, a smooth firm movable bean structure about 1 - 1.5 cm in size. normal?

It is possible to feel lymph nodes in a skinny person. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
