This is a non-specific finding and the interpretation depends on many factors-like why did you get the test? Are you having symptoms suggestive of a heart issue, etc.? We have more concern with T wave abnormalities in anterior leads than in inferior leads. There is much concern when ST abnormalities are also present. Concern is some type of myocardial pathology such as a prior heart attack or.episode of myocarditis. To rule out significant coronary artery disease, a treadmill stress test is done. An echocardiogram would look for cardiomyopathy.See cardiologist
