Ibd. i have loose stools, erythema nodosum, i have had a positive ibd test, a positive ana. i have stiff ankles, high sed rate and crp. but a neg colonoscopy. could i still have crohn's?

Was the positive IBD test an elevated fecal calprotectin level? If so you could have microscopic colitis which is considered an autoimmune disorder by many clinicians. It is only diagnosed by microscopic analysis. You have features of autoimmune disease. . Do you see a rheumatologist as well as a gastroenterologist? They can advise you best.

It is certainly possible that you could have inflammatory bowel disease, specifically Crohn’s disease. This is often present in the small intestine rather than the colon, which would not have been seen by your colonoscopy. You should return to your gastroenterologist for further evaluation. Do not delay. Good luck.
