A member asked:

At night before bed & during sleep i get both swollen & pain from both my feet, ankles and upper legs. especially when wearing socks and blankets over?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Night pain: When patient's are concerned of leg pain only at night, the first thing i think of is peripheral vascular disease. If it's pvd, the pain would be from a lack of blood getting to your leg. During the day, gravity could be aiding the blood in getting to the extremity, and then when you lay down in bed, you no longer have gravity helping with the blood flow. I would advise seeing your physician.
