Cramps : Cramps are very difficult to figure out. Sometimes there are reduced levels of calcium, magnesium or other electrolytes in your blood. Your doctor can test for these problems but finding the cause in blood tests is unusual. It would be any easy thing to try taking some calcium and magnesium supplement from your neighborhood drug store for a week to see if this helps. If not, try taking a couple ounces of tonic water before bed. Tonic water has small amount of quinine in it. While large amounts of quinine can have side effects, the risk is very low at small doses.
