I have a appointment with a psychologist on the 22nd and i have had crippling panic/anxiety attacks that are affecting my work and other responsibilities and i suffer from clinical depression. what's the best way to go about this?

You should definitely keep your psychologist appointment because the psychologist can help you develop coping methods and figure out where the panic attacks/depression are originating from. In addition, you may want to see a psychiatrist to see if there are medications that may help you, depending on the severity of your symptoms. Good luck to you!

You are proceeding in an appropriate manner. Have noted great successes from cognitive behavioral approaches, biofeedback therapy, acupuncture, meditation, and even aerobic exercise. Yes, medications may have a role, but do not provide long-term solutions over years, yet may be useful at least initially until the former programs are in place.
