I don’t know, however, how do you know that you have fibrosis of lungs. Did a Physician tell you. Was an X-ray, CT scan taken. Please ask your treating Physician about your concerns.

No, a chest X-ray will be suboptimal for diagnosis of lung fibrosis. There are newer treatments for fibrosis guided by possible causes as fibrosis involves a spectrum of conditions.

I recently had an X-ray read as mild prominence of the interstitium. An X-ray was found from 7 years ago with markings, but slightly less prominent. If it was fibrosis, could it take that long to develop? Lung function tests and O2 sat are normal?
