If someone develops post-covid lung fibrosis, of which many people could do, then what is given to them to help them? it seems like the only advice a doctor can give is "exercise more" (pulmonary rehab) or expensive drugs which are marginal benefit?

Post inflammatory lung syndrome due to pulmonary infection which includes covid-19 infection is still a frustrated complication which poses difficult challenges for both patient and pulmonologist. Yes, our knowledge is still quite limited in the treatment of long covid syndrome and pulmonary fibrosis is one of the primary concern.
