Urethritis symp for 2 mths. neg on all stis, mgen, uas and prost at 8 was, but was on abx 1 wk during.did a culture today but didnt say sex was source of problem. if neg, do i share sti concern for diff testing? will culture catch any/all bacteria?

Some bacteria are notoriously difficult to detect by urine or urethral cultures. These are not necessarily STDs. Some urologists will empirically prescribe a prolonged course of oral antibiotics in cases of persistent culture negative cases of urethritis.
